Description

Manage product initiatives for supply chain and logistics systems supporting reliable and efficient flow of direct materials to factories, distribution centers, service locations, and installation sites. Partner across planning, logistics, warehousing, and engineering teams to identify improvements, define requirements, and deliver solutions with measurable KPIs. Own automated processes and algorithms, ensure data availability and accuracy, and lead roadmap planning based on stakeholder feedback.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems related to simplification, optimization, and automation in systems, data, or procedures
• Research and collaborate with planners, vendors, customers, warehouse, logistics, and software engineers to develop and deploy solutions
• Create training materials and SOPs reflecting current system behavior and common supply chain scenarios; monitor knowledge usage
• Define and track KPIs for operational performance, issue frequency, software usage, and effectiveness
• Own and monitor automated processes; manage input parameters and adjust algorithms/models across systems
• Troubleshoot and triage operational and system queries; coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and software support
• Provide updates on initiatives, gather global feedback, and develop and drive the roadmap
• Test system behavior before releases and address gaps during/after deployment
• Define and document detailed system requirements (scenarios, expected behaviors, test cases, dependencies, risks, project plan)
• Participate in technical discussions with software developers on backend design, response rates, and architecture

Requirements

• Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in planning, supply chain, manufacturing, or business operations OR 1+ years managing software development projects/products in a business/technical role; strong exposure to ERP data
• Structured, data-driven quantitative problem-solving; ability to query, analyze, and present data
• Proven ability to set expectations, manage deadlines, and hold teams accountable to milestones
• Ability to drive strategic discussions and turn strategy into action across IT, operations, and finance
• Supply chain/logistics/distribution experience and professional knowledge of transportation and trade-related terms and regulations
• Experience with process improvement toolkits (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
• Agile product development experience
• Ability to read software codebase; experience with machine learning and vision systems
• SAP or Oracle ERP knowledge and ability to apply it to custom-built systems
• Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL GQL, DDL, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel; professional expertise with R or Python

Expected Compensation

$112,000 - $204,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits (final pay depends on individual factors such as location, skills, and experience).
