Description

Lead supply chain product management to ensure critical semiconductor components are ready for new hardware launches. Align component readiness with product timelines, influence early design decisions for supply resilience and scalability, and manage BOM-level supply risks through mitigation planning. Provide visibility and reporting on component risks and mitigation status to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Product Roadmap Alignment: Partner with hardware engineering to track component readiness from prototype to production, identify gaps early, and drive alignment on mitigation plans for successful scaled launches.

• Early Design Influence: Engage during the concept/design phase to influence component selection with guidance on resilience, scalability, and qualification timelines, including optimization for multi-sourcing and long-term supply continuity.

• BOM Risk Assessment & Mitigation (NPI to MP) including NUDD: Analyze BOMs to identify single/sole sourcing, supplier capacity constraints, manufacturing and technology dependencies, and lifecycle/EOL exposure; drive cross-functional mitigation plans to closure.

• Alternative Sourcing: Identify high-risk components and run multiple source selection across NUDD, partnering with engineering and quality to enable early qualification of alternates.

• Risk Visibility & Reporting: Develop component-level risk visibility and communicate updates and escalations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years working with core cloud technology services, including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience.
• Preferred: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse business and technical audiences.
