Description

Administer and monitor enterprise cloud environments with a focus on provisioning/deprovisioning, automation, and reporting. Provide 2nd-line support to application development teams for cloud services while coordinating with 3rd-line support. Maintain policies, guidelines, and SOPs and participate in project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor enterprise cloud environments (subscriptions, identities, resource management, automation)
• Monitor and report on cloud resource utilization and consumption
• Prepare, update, and maintain reports and workflows
• Prepare, update, and maintain policies, guidelines, and SOPs
• Provision and de-provision development environments for DevOps projects
• Provide 2nd-line support to development teams regarding cloud services; coordinate with 3rd-line support
• Participate in coordination and project meetings; perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of IT-relevant professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• English level B2 (certificate or willingness to take the exam)
• Azure certification: AZ-305 or AZ-104
• Technical knowledge of one or more enterprise cloud services (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud)
• Experience building cloud services including compute, storage, and network
• Excellent scripting and programming experience: PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt, and object-oriented programming
• Demonstrable Linux administration and scripting experience (preferably Red Hat)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft system administration
• Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts/techniques
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance (auditing/monitoring tools)
• Experience collaborating with multiple support groups
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change management, configuration management, and release management
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones based on Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
• Strong organization, prioritization, and communication skills
• Proactive, team-oriented, self-motivated, able to handle fast-changing technologies
