Description

You will support and continuously improve a global Azure cloud infrastructure with responsibility for networking, security, and governance. You will help introduce new Azure regions and support adjacent services such as EntraID, SCIM, and enterprise applications. You will also optimize cloud costs through continuous monitoring and serve as a contact for internal specialist teams regarding cloud infrastructure topics.

Responsibilities

• Support and further develop the global Azure cloud infrastructure (networking, security, governance)

• Contribute to introducing new Azure regions

• Support related services such as EntraID, SCIM, and app/enterprise applications

• Participate in challenging projects

• Be the point of contact for internal specialist departments on cloud infrastructure topics

Requirements

• Completed degree in IT or equivalent qualification

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially networking concepts, administration, security, and governance

• Experience managing complex hybrid IT infrastructures in an enterprise environment

• Ability to optimize cloud costs through continuous monitoring

• Confident in administering EntraID and app/enterprise applications

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, e.g., with Terraform or PowerShell

• First experience with AWS cloud infrastructure is desirable but not required
