Description

Join a team responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic AWS platform for a global energy-sector organization. The role covers AWS migration initiatives and modern AWS-based solutions using automation and Infrastructure as Code, aligned with AWS best practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system and application migrations to AWS according to the defined migration strategy

• Plan and execute Lift & Shift migrations as well as Re-Architecture initiatives

• Containerize applications and deploy them on Amazon EKS

• Migrate databases using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)

• Design and implement data migration solutions using AWS DataSync, Storage Gateway, and Amazon S3

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and AWS services

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize AWS environments

• Support incident resolution and troubleshoot cloud platform-related issues

• Configure monitoring, alerting, and KPI dashboards with Amazon CloudWatch

• Collaborate with platform architects and application teams to evolve the central AWS platform

• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, onboarding materials, and user guides

• Support implementation of security standards and AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience delivering AWS migration projects (preferably in large enterprise environments)

• Strong AWS services knowledge and cloud architecture fundamentals

• Experience with: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, GitHub/GitOps, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), Ansible, AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Config

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker, particularly Amazon EKS environments

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of cloud security and CI/CD security best practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent English
