Description

You will build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and release management workflows to ensure deployment precision, pipeline reliability, and release safety. The role includes automated quality gates, pipeline observability with DORA metrics, and incident response with root-cause analysis and long-term fixes. You will also promote engineering best practices across CI/CD, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for hybrid monolith and microservices

• Implement release management workflows: versioning, branching strategies, deployment runbooks, rollback procedures

• Integrate automated quality gates (unit, integration, smoke tests) into CI/CD

• Instrument pipelines with observability tools and track DORA metrics

• Lead deployment incident response: root-cause analysis, mitigation, long-term fixes

• Champion CI/CD, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform, or Release Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, ECS, S3, IAM)

• Working knowledge of Java 21 or Kotlin 2.0 and Spring Boot

• Experience with Gradle (Kotlin DSL)

• Deep understanding of branching strategies (Trunk-based, GitFlow)

• Observability experience and integrating test frameworks (JUnit 5, Testcontainers)

• Polish and English (at least B2)
