Description

Lead the solution development workstream during the presales process for SAP Commerce Cloud and complementary customer experience products. You assess customer business and technical needs, recommend modular solutions through integration with composable modules, and define project scope, timelines, and cost estimates. You also collaborate with development teams and clients to refine requirements and advise on composable commerce and SAP Commerce Cloud best practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive solution development in the presales process via customer workshops and solution demonstrations
• Provide in-depth technical knowledge of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform and related customer experience products (SAP and non-SAP)
• Evaluate business and technical customer needs and recommend modular solutions through integration (e.g., CMS, search, OMS, PIM)
• Develop precise project scope, schedules, and cost estimates
• Plan and deliver high-level and detailed concepts (big picture, solution alignment) together with partner solutions
• Work with development teams and customers to capture and refine requirements
• Advise customers on project topics with a focus on best practices, standards, and trends in composable commerce and SAP Commerce Cloud
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Continuously learn product updates and complete relevant certifications

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or other composable commerce architectures
• 3+ years of experience applying technical solutions and designing system architectures
• Excellent communication in German (C2) and English (at least C1)
• Strong self-organization and ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of key web technologies (GDPR, SEO, analytics, security, caching), integration methods (e.g., REST APIs), and data modeling
• Enjoyment of conceptual and analytical tasks
• Open, communicative, balanced personality; enjoys delivering presentations
• Strong intercultural competence and willingness to travel (~20% of the time)
