Description

Architect SAP Industry Cloud solutions for end-to-end retail processes—especially order management, basket sourcing, omnichannel pricing, and POS integration. Drive ERP transformation initiatives using a fit-to-standard approach focused on simplicity and scalability. Lead workshops, translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions, support testing through go-live and rollout, and mentor junior consultants.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize end-to-end retail processes with a focus on order management, basket sourcing, omnichannel pricing, and POS integration
• Advance ERP transformation initiatives with a strong fit-to-standard approach, emphasizing simplicity and scalability
• Lead workshops with retail, e-commerce, and supply chain stakeholders to analyze requirements and critically challenge existing processes
• Translate functional requirements into structured, scalable SAP solutions and integrate them into the SAP Industry Cloud portfolio
• Support testing, go-live, and rollout activities; ensure high quality and strong user adoption
• Advise customers on strategic use of ERP and industry-cloud solutions for modern retail business models
• Support and mentor junior consultants and actively contribute to building retail ERP and industry-cloud expertise
• Continuously learn about SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Industry Cloud, current retail trends, and ERP transformation best practices

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an SAP consultant, ideally in retail or customer-facing industries
• Proven experience with SAP Industry Cloud, especially SAP Order Management Foundation, SAP Order Management for Sourcing & Availability, and SAP Omnichannel Sales Transaction and Audit
• Strong understanding of retail business processes, including SAP Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPPS), SAP Order Management Foundation (OMF), SAP Order Management for Sourcing & Availability (OMSA), SAP Omnichannel Sales Transaction and Audit (OSTA), S/4HANA Sales (SD), and S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement (MM)
• Experience in retail ERP transformation projects (SAP Industry Cloud or SAP S/4HANA implementations/migrations)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end processes rather than isolated module views
• Experience leading workshops and working closely with business stakeholders
• Excellent German (C1+) and English (B2+) communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in an agile, cross-functional team
• Advantage: experience with omnichannel setups integrating store operations and e-commerce; knowledge of retail topics such as pricing, promotions, and assortment management
• Advantage: initial experience mentoring or leading small teams
