Description

You will support an information security team by providing security oversight using dedicated security technologies, including SIEM. After required training, you’ll independently handle security event/incident analysis, help create monitoring rules, assess new vulnerabilities and their impact, and contribute to implementing security measures across architecture, IT infrastructure, operating systems, and applications. The role also includes security administration, documentation, and training/control activities for protection of classified information.

Responsibilities

• Provide security monitoring with assigned security technologies (SIEM and other tools)

• Analyze and compile information about detected security events and incidents

• Contribute to creation of security monitoring rules

• Coordinate with IT and the cyber security manager to resolve events and incidents

• Evaluate new vulnerabilities and their impact on the organization’s infrastructure; propose detection rules for new threats

• Design and help implement security measures, tools, and mechanisms for information and communication systems at architecture, IT infrastructure, OS, and application levels

• Perform security administration of information and communication systems handling classified information in line with applicable legislation and documentation

• Conduct control, methodological, and training activities for protection of classified information in systems handling UI

• Own handling and documentation (evidence) of security incidents and events for systems handling UI

• Maintain documentation for information and communication systems handling classified information

• Participate in internal projects

Requirements

• Completed secondary education with a high school diploma (maturita)

• Interest in cybersecurity and security of information/communication systems

• General knowledge of server administration, data networks, and the IT environment

• Overview of server technologies (web/application servers, AD, DNS, LDAP, etc.)

• Analytical and logical thinking

• Willingness to learn

• Conscientiousness, diligence, and responsibility

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Technical English knowledge
