Description

You will analyze and develop internal information systems, participate in shaping and implementing the organization’s information strategy aligned with the Czech Republic’s information strategy, and propose and implement ICT changes across the systems lifecycle.

The role also includes evaluating and processing ICT change requests, coordinating ICT projects and vendor deliveries, supporting incident and security risk resolution, and designing and testing DRP/BCP recovery plans.

You will further work as a data architect, focusing on administration and development of the data environment, coordinating open data activities, and cooperating with eGovernment authorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop internal information systems
• Collaborate on the creation and fulfillment of the organization’s information strategy
• Design and implement ICT changes; manage lifecycle; coordinate deployment of new system versions
• Record, evaluate, and process ICT change requests and their impact
• Work with internal departments to analyze business agendas and identify suitable technological solutions
• Prepare processes, methodologies, and materials for effective ICT governance
• Propose information system architecture changes and contribute to the Architecture Board
• Manage and coordinate ICT projects; communicate with vendors and accept deliveries
• Assist in resolving operational events, incidents, and security risks
• Design and test disaster recovery plans (DRP) and business continuity plans (BCP)
• Administer assigned ICT assets and configurations
• Analyze ICT risks and propose measures to reduce their impact
• Contribute to preparation and evaluation of ICT-focused public procurements
• Data architecture responsibilities: administer and develop the data environment
• Coordinate and develop open data activities
• Cooperate with expert, methodological, and supervisory authorities in eGovernment

Requirements

• Czech Republic citizenship, another EU member state citizenship, or a citizen of a state that is a contracting party to the EEA Agreement
• At least 18 years old
• Full legal capacity
• Clean criminal record
• Health fitness
• Completed university education in a master’s degree program
• Experience with analysis, administration, or development of information systems
• Understanding of ICT processes and ability to communicate with both users and technology vendors
• Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and drive successful deployment
• Orientation in ICT architecture, data management, and/or project management
• Analytical mindset, independent approach, and ability to identify relationships
• Advantage: experience in public administration/eGovernment or in the public procurement environment
