Senior AI Platform Engineer – Cybersecurity and Cloud Integration

Description

As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you will work in the cybersecurity and cloud technology industry, designing, developing, and expanding an AI platform that empowers cybersecurity analysts through intelligent workflows, automation, and AI-assisted capabilities. Your work will help transform enterprise security operations with AI and cloud solutions in a dynamic professional-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven platform capabilities to support cybersecurity operations.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs to enhance platform functionality.
• Develop workflow orchestration and automation features to optimize security processes.
• Integrate with enterprise security and operational platforms, including third-party systems.
• Produce reusable components, SDKs, and connectors for multiple applications.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical planning, and strategic direction.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies for potential platform integration.
• Collaborate with security analysts to translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
• Write maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code; participate in reviews and architectural discussions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience, focused on modular, maintainable systems.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong background developing reusable libraries or frameworks.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies: large language models (LLMs), AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, AI workflow orchestration, model evaluation, governance, and safety.
• Cloud-native development expertise in Azure or AWS, including storage, authentication, queues/messaging, serverless, containers, and monitoring.
• Experience integrating third-party platforms through REST APIs, SDKs, or webhooks.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts: SIEM, SOAR, IAM, threat detection, incident response, authentication, and authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, ServiceNow, SOAR platforms, MITRE ATT&CK, detection engineering, or SOC.
• Background building AI platforms or designing workflow engines.
• Experience developing SDKs or internal developer platforms.
• Knowledge of vector or semantic search and structured data pipelines.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures.
• Offensive security techniques or adversary emulation experience.
• Contributions to technical strategy and architecture.

Language

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
