Description

Lead the technology strategy, architecture, security/compliance, engineering delivery, and testing for European core payment processing platforms. Own a multiyear migration program to move business-critical traffic from legacy systems to go-forward platforms, working closely with Product and senior technology/business stakeholders. Provide business-facing leadership as a single point of contact for core payment processing in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a ~250-person technology organization across Warsaw and Prague
• Define the technology strategy for European core payment processing platforms
• Partner with Product to build a stable, predictable roadmap and ensure quality, pace, and throughput
• Own and deliver a multiyear migration programme from legacy systems to go-forward platforms
• Act as Senior Technology Partner and single point of contact for core payment processing in Europe
• Engage with joint ventures, boards, and senior global stakeholders to align technology strategy with commercial, legal, and financial targets

Requirements

• 20+ years’ technology change management experience with business and commercial considerations
• 5+ years’ experience managing large software organizations
• Experience scaling large engineering teams across multiple locations
• Experience leading high-availability, low-latency platforms, ideally in payments or other regulated environments
• Experience leading live, real-time migrations and complex transformation programs with senior stakeholders
• Ability to translate business vision into software components and build strong engineering culture
