Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices with Java and Spring Boot

• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the technical direction of the platform

• Build and operate distributed systems in cloud and hybrid environments

• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and related messaging technologies

• Design, optimize, and support PostgreSQL databases

• Improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborate with engineers in Agile teams

• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best practices

• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 21+ and the Spring ecosystem

• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and clean code

• Hands-on experience with Azure or other cloud platforms

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments

• Experience with Kafka, Event Hubs, or similar messaging technologies

• Experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases

• Strong Git and GitHub workflow knowledge

• Experience using GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar AI development tools daily

• Linux fundamentals and scripting experience

• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols

• Fluent English
