Description

You will deliver edge-focused product experiences that integrate machine learning and autonomy for intelligence officers, frontline soldiers, and security forces. You’ll collaborate with design to create intuitive user experiences, account for machine learning limitations, and build application flows that make ML a force multiplier. You’ll also partner with infrastructure and ML engineers to build an efficient edge-ready application stack and internal modeling APIs that support optimal front-end experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver edge-focused product experiences integrating machine learning and autonomy

• Collaborate with design to develop novel and intuitive user experiences

• Design systems and application flows that account for ML shortcomings while enabling ML impact

• Work with infrastructure and other product teams to create an efficient, elegant application stack for resource-constrained edge environments

• Partner with ML engineers to design and build internal modeling APIs supporting front-end user experiences

Requirements

• 5+ years working in full-stack product development positions

• 3+ years experience with strongly typed languages: Go, C++, C#, or Java

• Deep understanding of reactive web frameworks: Vue or React

• Experience with API design and best practices for REST, GraphQL, and gRPC

• Experience maintaining a codebase using design documents, code reviews, and style guides

• Self-driven and disciplined; able to thrive with autonomy, trust, and solid communication in a small remote team

• Eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
