Description

You will design and evolve an end-to-end AI architecture that turns modern technologies (LLMs, Computer Vision, automated workflows) into practical tools for clients and internal teams. The work includes integrating LLM and agentic workflows (RAG), building computer-vision-enabled capabilities, and prototyping/testing in real operations. You will collaborate with IT and Data to ensure scalable, secure, governed deployment connected to existing APIs and databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the AI architecture and technological framework across existing and new ecosystems
• Connect AI with retail practice by identifying use cases that save time or add value (e.g., automated evaluation of retail audits and shelf images, processing unstructured data, predictive analytics)
• Design and integrate LLM & agentic workflows using modern language model providers and RAG frameworks
• Perform rapid prototyping and run PoCs tested in real operations with product and project teams
• Work with IT and Data on scalability, security, data governance, and efficient integration of AI services with existing APIs and databases
• Follow AI/ML trends and recommend best practices, tools, and partners

Requirements

• Experience in an architect, senior developer, or Lead AI/ML engineer role
• Strong experience integrating LLMs via APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Vertex AI/Gemini, Anthropic)
• Hands-on knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG systems
• Experience with computer vision (object detection and/or image classification)
• Ability to write clean code for PoCs (e.g., Python)
• Knowledge of integration patterns, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
• Business/product mindset: translate business problems into technical solutions with a focus on ROI and practical usability
• Independent, proactive approach to define standards and lead a greenfield technological direction
