Description

You will connect business, IT, and data science to ensure the organization’s platforms provide the features and tools needed to enable scalable (Gen)AI use cases. You will act as a point of contact for stakeholders, research and potentially run PoCs for new tools/technologies, and collaborate on conceptual design and infrastructure selection for efficient platform utilization. You will also define architectural blueprints and standardized ways of working aligned with AI Foundations and Business Technology units.

Responsibilities

• Enable strategic digitalization by providing AI and digital platforms across the insurance value chain

• Design software solutions for productive deployment of (Gen)AI across ERGO entities, including technical integration into existing applications and processes

• Evaluate tools and technologies for cloud-based (Gen)AI platforms and support their implementation

• Collaborate on conceptual design and enforcement of technical blueprints to optimize platform usage via standardized ways of working

• Support and develop technical know-how, tools, and methods across Digital Technologies, IT architecture, and IT units

• Advise strategic digitalization projects to ensure secure and efficient platform usage

Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written English

• University degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a related field

• Good knowledge of (Gen)AI technologies, MLOps, cloud computing, and modern development tools

• Working experience with platform architectures and microservices

• Understanding of business processes and ability to align technical solutions with business goals

• Proficiency in at least one programming, scripting, or database language (e.g., Python, Spark, SQL)

• Experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure and Databricks)

• Willingness to innovate and think in connected ways

• Knowledge of scalable data management and data architectures, including data pipelining

• Willingness and ability to travel
