Description

Support the definition of accounting processes and the design of booking logic for eCommerce transactions in an international retail environment. Validate finance solutions against IFRS and accounting policies, create accounting event matrices, and design month-end close, reconciliations, and controls. Participate in business and system UAT and help prepare the organization for production go-live.

Responsibilities

• Define and document accounting rules for eCommerce transactions

• Design financial processes and process documentation

• Verify solutions for compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies

• Create accounting event matrices and booking logic

• Design month-end close procedures, account reconciliations, and financial controls

• Prepare test scenarios and support finance-side UAT

• Verify the correctness of bookings, reconciliations, and financial reports generated by the system

• Collaborate with business, IT, and solution vendors on finance process implementations

• Support organizational readiness for production launch

• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives in retail and eCommerce

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or finance transformation

• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or omnichannel environments

• Very good knowledge of accounting and financial processes

• Practical knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles

• Experience with returns, refunds, reconciliations, and financial controls

• Knowledge of month-end close processes

• Experience with ERP implementations or transformation projects

• Hands-on experience preparing and executing UAT tests

• Ability to create process and business documentation

• Very good English proficiency
