Description

Develop control firmware for in-house hardware for avionics applications and firmware for testers/support tools used during electronics validation. Define requirements, help bring up prototypes, fix issues with the hardware team, and analyze firmware behavior on real hardware to tune and optimize performance. Aviation domain knowledge is not required initially—training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded control firmware for in-house avionics hardware
• Develop firmware for testers and supporting validation tools
• Define specifications, bring up prototypes, and resolve bugs with the hardware team
• Analyze firmware function on real hardware, debug, and optimize

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C for bare-metal source code development
• Practical experience with STM32 microcontrollers
• Familiarity with common peripherals: SPI, UART, CAN
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work with component datasheets
• Experience working with measurement equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope
