Description

You will work on development and validation of innovative automotive and eMobility products within the hardware architecture area. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will contribute to functional hardware testing, test environment development, and issue resolution. The role combines hands-on testing with continuous improvement of test capabilities and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product functional test plans for compliance testing

  • Develop hardware test setups and contribute to test bench improvements

  • Perform manual functional testing of products on hardware test benches

  • Contribute to the automation of hardware tests

  • Define and validate new test software functions

  • Track and report test progress

  • Manage and resolve hardware defects

  • Provide technical support for environmental and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) validation

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing plants during production changes

  • Analyze customer issues and internal tickets, reproduce problems, and coordinate resolution

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field

  • DGUV 200-006 Level 2 & 3 HV qualification or an equivalent certification

  • More than 1 year of experience in Automotive Electronics or e-Mobility hardware

  • Foundational knowledge of embedded hardware systems and analog electronics

  • Strong communication skills

  • Fluency in English (German and French are considered a plus)
