Description

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects to deliver groundbreaking designs and detailed mechanical systems for ambitious AI, robotics, and self-driving car initiatives. Coordinate project requirements with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and mentor engineers in an inclusive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers to implement new designs and solutions

• Collaborate across functions to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery

• Coordinate development of detailed mechanical systems for AI, robotics, and self-driving programs

• Foster continuous improvement aligned with established industry standards

• Mentor and develop talent within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); Master’s or Ph.D. preferred

• 10+ years of overall experience

• Track record of leadership in mechanical engineering, preferably in high-tech or AI-focused industries

• Strong mechanical design, CAD, and engineering analysis skills

• Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration

• 3+ years of leadership experience designing mechanical systems

• Passion for innovation and continuous learning
