Description

Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for BioNeMo inference products. You will translate model capabilities into reliable, scalable inference experiences built on NVIDIA NIM and accelerated computing, working with engineering, research, platform, and cloud teams. You will also drive developer onboarding through APIs, SDKs, containers, Helm charts, documentation, and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for NIM-based inference deployment, performance optimization, scalability, and developer onboarding
• Collaborate with engineering, research, solution architects, cloud, and product teams to productionize inference experiences
• Specify optimization requirements: batching, throughput, latency, GPU utilization, multi-GPU/multi-node scaling, caching, scheduling, observability, and reliability
• Partner with platform teams to support clean deployment in cloud and enterprise environments, including Kubernetes-based setups
• Build developer experience across APIs, SDKs, containers, Helm charts, reference architectures, documentation, and examples
• Gather insights from early customers and partners and convert feedback into prioritized requirements
• Establish adoption, usability, performance, and operational quality metrics and use data to iterate
• Drive cross-functional product launches with marketing, developer relations, sales, and solution architects
• Help define the product boundary between open-source biomolecular models, NVIDIA NIMs, and enterprise-ready deployment/support

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience
• 3+ years in software engineering or a deeply technical role
• 2+ years in product management
• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering/science fields such as Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or related
• Experience defining and shipping technical products, platforms, APIs, SDKs, developer tools, or cloud services
• Strong understanding of AI/ML inference systems and deployment tradeoffs (model serving, GPU infrastructure, batching, throughput, latency, scaling, cost-performance)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, and public-cloud deployment concepts
• Ability to work with engineers on system architecture, performance bottlenecks, operational requirements, and roadmap tradeoffs
• Strong customer discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, and roadmap management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Benefits

• Base salary range: 148,000 USD – 224,250 USD (varies by location and experience)
