Description

You will work in a development team to understand how the information system truly functions—looking beyond stated requirements to data, relationships, and the effects of change. The system integrates data from insurers, police, and other entities, and most changes are evolutionary. You will analyze customer needs (often driven by legislation and processes), propose solutions considering system behavior and data, and prepare clear assignments for development.

Responsibilities

• Get oriented in the system (starting with insurance contracts)
• Analyze customer requirements, including legislation- and process-driven changes
• Design solutions from the perspective of system operation and data
• Break solutions into steps and prepare development assignments
• Work with the data model and actual data
• Assess impacts of changes on other parts of the system
• Discuss proposals with developers and the system architect
