Description

Translate finance business requirements (including financial accounting, treasury, and tax) into detailed functional specifications and BRDs, considering cross-functional impacts, risks, and business justification. Configure and implement SAP FICO to meet business needs across AR, AP, Costing, GL, and FA, partnering with stakeholders to define SAP system requirements. Own project planning, testing, deployment, documentation, and end-user support/training, while debugging SAP FICO issues and incorporating SAP FICO updates and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain functional specifications and business requirements documents (BRD)

• Develop project plans including resource/capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes

• Configure and implement SAP FICO modules (AR, AP, Costing, GL, FA)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into SAP requirements

• Debug and troubleshoot SAP FICO issues; recommend improvements

• Develop testing strategies and document results

• Provide technical support and training to SAP FICO end users

• Work with project managers and business analysts to align SAP FICO with business strategy

• Create and maintain documentation of SAP FICO configurations, procedures, and training materials

• Stay up to date with SAP FICO updates and adapt enhancements to the business environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information science, or accounting

• 2–5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO business analyst or related role

• Expert in SAP ECC

• Basic knowledge of SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of other SAP modules is preferred

• Experience planning and executing large projects

• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical users

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

• Effective change management skills

• Ability to establish, build, and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization
