Description

You will work as the deployment focal point for assigned data objects in SAP implementation and transformation projects. The role coordinates the full migration lifecycle—data cleansing, field mapping, migration loads, validation/verification, documentation, and resolution of defects and data deviations—to ensure data readiness for successful deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and coordinate data migration activities across cleansing, field mapping, migration loads, and validation/verification
  • Act as the deployment focal point for assigned data objects within the migration scope
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Deployment Functional Process Experts, ETL/Data Migration Teams, Legacy Teams, Product Teams, and Global Functional Data Owners
  • Analyze data readiness reports, defects, and data deviations; drive migration issues to resolution
  • Support data verification testing and business data sign-off
  • Train and support business users on data migration processes and requirements
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of migration data
  • Manage multiple activities and stakeholders in parallel while working effectively under pressure
  • Maintain documentation related to data migration and deployment activities

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP data migration and deployment, including data cleansing, field mapping, data loads, validation, and data verification
  • Experience working as a data migration focal point, deployment data lead, or DFDO within SAP implementation/transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of SAP configurations, business processes, and data dependencies
  • Experience analyzing data readiness reports and driving resolution of defects and data deviations
  • Experience supporting data verification testing and business data sign-off
  • Experience training and supporting business users on data migration processes and requirements
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in Agile project environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with excellent English (written and spoken) in multinational environments
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders in parallel under pressure
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating across global/local teams
  • Flexible, proactive, and collaborative mindset in a global/virtual project environment
