Description

As a Principal Electrical Engineer in Cables & Optics, you will drive the qualification, deployment, and technology strategy for high-speed optical and copper interconnect solutions for next-generation Network L11 platforms. You will lead qualification and interoperability of optical transceivers, DACs, AECs, and AOCs across server-to-switch, switch-to-switch, and rack-to-rack deployments. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve complex connectivity challenges and help define roadmaps and qualification methodologies for reliable, scalable network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive qualification, deployment, and technology strategy for high-speed optical and copper interconnect solutions

• Develop and deploy rack-scale connectivity solutions enabling AI, cloud, and high-performance networking

• Lead qualification and interoperability of optical transceivers, DACs, AECs, and AOCs across multiple deployment topologies (server-to-switch, switch-to-switch, rack-to-rack)

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering/operations teams to resolve complex system-level connectivity challenges

• Define technology roadmaps, qualification methodologies, and deployment best practices
