Description

You will design, implement, and continuously improve demand forecasting models used across global markets. Take technical ownership from data collection to operationalization, collaborating with forecasting data scientists and ML engineers to deliver statistical and ML models to production. You’ll also propose new approaches, experiment with refinements, mentor junior team members, and use GenAI tooling to boost productivity.

Requirements

• Degree in econometrics, statistics, computer science, physics, economics, mathematics, data science, or similar
• 3+ years as a (senior) data scientist in demand forecasting with time series and causal models
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib
• Knowledge of statistical uncertainty and modeling with regressors/classifiers
• SQL proficiency for retrieving, manipulating, and analyzing large heterogeneous datasets
• Experience with cloud-based data science environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and deploying ML workloads
• Git and code review workflow experience
• Ability to supervise a GenAI-assisted development workflow where AI tools generate and iterate on code
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional, international stakeholders
