Description

You will own and deliver high-impact data products from concept to production, bridging business needs with production-grade machine learning. The work emphasizes personalization (e.g., recommender engines) and measuring true incremental business impact using causal inference and uplift modeling.

Responsibilities

• Discover: partner with business leaders to translate complex challenges into actionable ML hypotheses

• Build & Scale: design, develop, and deploy recommender engines, advanced classification models, and NLP solutions using large-scale datasets

• Measure Impact: apply uplift modeling techniques to move beyond correlation and quantify genuine incremental impact of products and campaigns

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience delivering end-to-end data science products

• Proven experience building and optimizing recommender systems at scale

• Hands-on knowledge of causal inference, specifically uplift modeling

• Deep understanding of supervised learning for complex classification models

• Solid background in NLP and embeddings

• Experience with Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow), PySpark, and SQL

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and at least one cloud/data platform among AWS, GCP, Azure, or Snowflake
