Description

Provide detailed finance and operational analysis to support business operations, including complex modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and business case development. Monitor and maintain KPIs/scorecards, analyze cost elements, and prepare comprehensive performance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support short- and long-range business planning and may lead business planning or process improvement initiatives, with potential extended hours during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct short-term and long-range business planning
• Perform complex modeling, forecasting, trending, and variance analysis; conduct financial and operational analysis
• Provide statistical information to improve utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials
• Monitor operational performance (safety, reliability, service level, productivity) and recommend improvements
• Track, maintain, analyze, and report KPIs/scorecard information
• Analyze operation cost elements to ensure efficient operations
• Prepare, organize, and present detailed performance reports
• Develop, implement, evaluate, or lead projects and initiatives (e.g., process improvement)
• Provide broad analytical and operational support to the business unit

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering AND 4–7 years of related experience; or 6–9 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Comprehensive understanding of performance metrics, business fundamentals, and applicable standards/methods in the supported functional area
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project, plus specialized business applications to retrieve/analyze data
• Ability to apply managerial accounting concepts and perform analytical/statistical problem solving and financial/accounting/budget analysis
• Strong analytical skills for complex project evaluation (economic/financial/risk/decision analysis) and ability to develop/present business cases
• Customer-driven communication and strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Knowledge of performance analysis (trending, root cause/gap analysis), benchmarking, and audit compliance; ability to interpret data and recommend actions

• Annual salary: $80,000.00–$110,000.00 (based on skills, qualifications, experience)
