Description

You will design and build a new insurance claims system, documenting system architecture and feasibility assumptions. The role involves building the system from scratch using a microservices architecture and setting technical direction, standards, and code quality. You will also estimate effort, coordinate implementation with developers, conduct code reviews, and support engineering through deployment and stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Design a new insurance claims system and document system architecture
  • Build the system from scratch in a microservices architecture ("vibe coding")
  • Participate in feasibility analyses and define implementation assumptions
  • Set the system development direction; ensure technology standards and code quality
  • Estimate effort for software engineering and architectural tasks
  • Assign tasks, supervise implementation, and run code reviews
  • Create technical documentation
  • Ensure operational and security requirements are met
  • Support development, deployment, and stabilization

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supervising system architecture
  • Very good knowledge of Java and Spring
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed architectures
  • Very good knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices
  • Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation
  • Experience with code review, mentoring, and leading architecture workshops
  • End-to-end observability experience
  • Practical knowledge of API governance
  • Practical knowledge of DDD
  • Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
  • English proficiency at least B2
