• Location: Client office 1x per week (Chmielna 89, Warsaw)

Description

You will work within the Foundation team to shape the architecture of the Technology Platform and support selected product teams. You will prepare architecture for new complex projects in Poland’s e-banking applications, define requirements across hardware, infrastructure, and software architecture, select tools and technologies, and design service orchestration approaches (including integrations between systems). You will also create/update architectural documentation, recommend areas for IT system growth and optimization, collaborate with cybersecurity and delivery stakeholders, and make architecture decisions based on analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture for new, complex projects in major e-banking applications

• Define requirements: hardware environment, infrastructure, and software architecture

• Create standards and best practices; select tools and technologies

• Design orchestration approaches for application services created/modified/used in projects

• Design integrations between IT systems

• Create and maintain architectural documentation

• Identify and recommend areas to develop and optimize IT systems and processes

• Collaborate with cybersecurity stakeholders (access layers and implementation approach)

• Cooperate with analysts, developers, and external vendors

• Make data-driven architecture decisions and independently expand knowledge

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing IT solutions and integrating IT systems

• Knowledge and understanding of platform team concepts that support product teams organized around business domains

• Experience designing architecture for mobile applications

• Experience building solutions for large-scale users in the financial sector

• Strong knowledge of solutions for high-performance systems with availability close to 100%

• Knowledge of architectural patterns for building enterprise architecture

• Experience implementing services in a Kubernetes (k8s) orchestrator environment

• Experience implementing services based on microservices

• Knowledge of cloud application development and delivery processes

• Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD

• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms and associated standards (Auth 2.0, OIDC)

• Ability to analyze application code in Java, Kotlin, and/or Swift

• Ability to work with Git

• Ability to model with C4 and UML

• Ability to work with cryptography topics (digital signatures, encryption algorithms, PKI)

• Ability to read technical documentation in English

• Higher education (preferably IT)
