Description

Design and govern enterprise-grade SAP BTP solutions, establishing platform standards, architecture governance, security/compliance frameworks, integration strategies, DevSecOps practices, and AI enablement capabilities.

Define enterprise reference architecture and operating model, including multi-subaccount and global account landscape strategies.

Architect scalable, secure, cloud-compliant solutions using event-driven and API-first patterns, including hybrid SAP and non-SAP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BTP services, governance standards, and best practices

• Define enterprise BTP reference architecture, operating model, and governance framework

• Architect multi-subaccount and global account structures; define tenant and landscape strategies

• Design extension architectures aligned with Clean Core

• Lead event-driven and API-first designs

• Lead SAP Integration Suite architecture and define API Management strategy

• Establish integration governance and reusable patterns for B2B, EDI, API, and event-based integrations

• Support Joule adoption; define AI Foundation architecture and Generative AI integration patterns

• Define CI/CD architecture and implement DevSecOps operating model

• Establish security/compliance guardrails and define monitoring and observability architecture

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture roles focused on SAP BTP platform design and governance

• Expertise in SAP Integration Suite and SAP Build Work Zone / SAP Build Apps

• Proficiency in SAP Build Process Automation and SAP HANA Cloud; knowledge of SAP Event Mesh

• Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio, SAP AI Core / SAP AI Launchpad, and SAP Mobile Services

• Familiarity with XSUAA, SAP Destination & Connectivity Services, and SAP Cloud Connector

• Background in Joule adoption and architecture patterns

• Skills in CAP, CDS, Node.js, and Java

• Competency in ABAP Cloud, RAP, and Fiori

• Understanding of OData and REST APIs

• Ability to use Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime, and Kubernetes/Docker

• Flexibility to use GitHub and/or Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge/qualifications across SAP IAS, IPS, XSUAA, and OAuth2/SAML/OpenID Connect; BTP authorization concepts

• Advanced expertise in enterprise, solution, and integration architecture (event-driven, API management, microservices)

• English proficiency at B2+/C1
