Description

You will help run and continuously improve the Linux infrastructure behind IPTV and OTT streaming services. The role includes owning key platform components, responding to production incidents (including root cause analysis), and delivering technical changes that increase stability, security, and operational efficiency. You will also implement monitoring, centralized management, deployment, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers and virtualization infrastructure

• Operate, develop, and automate Linux infrastructure in a 24/7 environment

• Own selected parts of the IPTV/OTT platform

• Handle complex production incidents and identify root causes

• Design and implement technical changes to improve stability, security, and efficiency

• Install, configure, and upgrade servers, operating systems, and related platform services

• Manage and develop monitoring, alerting, centralized administration, and deployment systems

• Design and implement automation using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management

• Collaborate with development teams during new releases and platform feature deployments

• Propose architecture, perform infrastructure sizing, and support capacity planning

• Manage database and application components critical to service operations

• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation

• After onboarding, participate in on-call/standby rotations

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience administering production Linux systems

• Very good Linux knowledge (RHEL/Rocky Linux, Debian/Ubuntu)

• Experience troubleshooting complex system and network problems

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, server networking, and security principles

• Experience with automation and scripting (Bash, Python)

• Experience with configuration management or Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform or similar)

• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools

• Experience mentoring or sharing know-how with less experienced colleagues

• Ability to design technical solutions and bring them into production independently

• English proficiency for technical documentation and professional communication
