Description

You will securely administer Linux servers and support reliable operations through monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting. In addition, you will manage on-prem IT systems, networking, and firewall solutions, while contributing to monitoring, error analysis, problem resolution, and documentation. You will help optimize and develop the IT environment through adjustments, migrations, and modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers and handle operation, monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting

• Manage IT systems including networking and firewall solutions in an on-premises landscape

• Assist with monitoring of systems and networks

• Perform fault analysis, resolve problems, and document outcomes

• Plan and execute smaller projects in your area and collaborate on cross-functional IT projects

• Optimize and further develop IT systems, including updates, migrations, and modernizations

Requirements

• IT training or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in Linux system administration

• Experience with monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting

• Preferred: experience with automation of operational processes, scripting, or configuration management

• Initiative and interest in learning new technologies
