Description

You will administer and manage Linux-based services and production application environments. The job focuses on maintaining high availability and performance, monitoring capacity and performance, and deploying new application versions, including containerized releases. You will also administer PostgreSQL databases, remediate security vulnerabilities, and ensure operational reliability.

Role Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage Linux-based services
  • Maintain high availability and performance of managed application systems
  • Provide ongoing support to production processes
  • Monitor system performance and capacity
  • Deploy new application versions
  • Install business applications in a Linux environment
  • Roll out software updates using Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and Docker, based on Jenkins
  • Administer relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
  • Fix vulnerabilities reported by the Security department
  • Oversee operational efficiency of the systems you administer

Requirements

  • Experience in administering and maintaining Linux environments
  • Experience with high-availability (HA) environments and clustered configurations
  • Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
  • Knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD and CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
  • Experience administering and maintaining relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
  • Experience deploying and updating applications/software
  • Ability to monitor and analyze system performance using tools such as Zabbix and Grafana
  • Ability to work with technical documentation and create documentation for configuration and operation
  • Current criminal record certificate (KRK)
  • Education/experience requirement: higher education + 2 years experience OR secondary education + 4 years experience
