Description

You will analyze occupational accident and occupational disease events in collaboration with prevention experts to build a foundation for effective prevention work. The role includes maintaining an analysis database based on MySQL, developing risk assessment and statistical analysis methods using machine learning, and creating automated reports and interactive dashboards to identify causes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze accident and occupational disease data with prevention experts to support prevention initiatives

  • Provide expert-level support for an analysis database based on MySQL and continuously improve it

  • Develop methods for risk assessment and statistical accident analysis using machine learning and statistical evaluations

  • Develop data-driven prevention steering methods to support prevention management

  • Create complex automated reports and/or interactive dashboards to visualize accident and occupational disease trends and identify causes

Requirements

  • Completed scientific degree (Master/Diploma/Magister) in economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related program with equivalent expertise

  • Strong analytical thinking and enjoyment of working on varying and complex questions

  • Deep knowledge of preparing and analyzing large datasets using SQL

  • Experience implementing machine learning pipelines and presenting analysis results via charts or dashboards using Python

  • Secure MS Office skills, including working below user interfaces if needed

  • German proficiency (C1) in spoken and written form

  • Willingness for occasional business travel
