Description

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Machine Learning models for banking and other business areas (e.g., churn analysis, fraud prevention, process mining, NLP). Perform data analysis and exploration, integrate and prepare datasets from multiple sources, and translate business needs into analytical solutions and ML models. Present results and recommendations to business stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams to deliver models to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ML models

• Analyze and explore data to identify trends, dependencies, and business opportunities

• Acquire, integrate, and prepare data for analysis and modeling

• Work with business stakeholders to define problems and data-driven solutions

• Present analysis results, recommend solutions, and support solution concepts

• Develop and maintain environments and processes supporting ML model delivery

• Collaborate with technical teams for production deployment

• Ensure quality, scalability, and efficiency of analytical solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role

• Very good knowledge of Machine Learning and statistics

• Strong analytical, business, and technical skills (T-shaped Data Scientist approach)

• Fluent SQL for data analysis and processing

• Practical Python programming experience (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)

• Experience with common ML model-building libraries (Java or Scala knowledge)

• Experience with Hadoop and Apache Spark

• Basic knowledge of DevOps and Linux system administration

• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions or ML models

• Experience acquiring, exploring, and preparing data from multiple sources

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and communicating solution value

• Ability to present a data-driven product vision and engage business partners
