Description

Design, build, and develop automated tests for web and/or mobile applications. You will create and maintain automation frameworks and test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and API testing, and integrate them into CI/CD. You will analyze test results and troubleshoot failures, reduce flaky tests, and support quality from the design phase.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated tests for web and/or mobile apps

  • Build and maintain automation framework(s) and automated test suites

  • Automate functional, regression, and integration tests

  • Identify test scenarios worth automating

  • Create and maintain API tests

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD processes

  • Analyze test results and diagnose root causes of failures

  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Owner, and product teams

  • Participate in defining acceptance criteria and quality approach during feature design

  • Ensure stability and quality of automated tests and reduce flaky tests

  • Develop standards and best practices for test automation

  • Perform manual testing when automation is not possible or justified

Requirements

  • Experience automating tests for web or mobile applications

  • Practical knowledge of one of: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO, Maestro

  • Programming or scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#

  • Practical knowledge of AI tools supporting and improving testing processes

  • Experience with REST API testing

  • Knowledge of Postman (or similar tools)

  • Knowledge of Git and basics of CI/CD pipelines

  • Ability to analyze errors and independently reach their causes

  • Understanding of the software development process and the role of test automation in the SDLC

  • Willingness to do manual testing when needed

  • Independence, attention to detail, and responsibility for product quality

  • Ability to work with development and business teams
