Description

You will join a project developing a new business application based on a microservices architecture. Initially you will learn the system through manual testing, then create a test automation framework and expand automated tests for the frontend, backend, and integrations. You will also integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD and help analyze results and fix issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of the new application

• Analyze functionality and select test cases for automation

• Create and maintain a test automation framework

• Prepare and maintain automated test scenarios

• Automate UI tests in Java using Selenium

• Test backend services, REST APIs, and integrations between systems

• Verify data correctness and structure in JSON and XML

• Validate data using SQL queries

• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines

• Analyze test results, report defects, and run retests

• Collaborate with development, analytics, and business teams

• Work in a Scrum-based team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of test automation experience

• Practical experience in both manual and automated testing

• Very good Java knowledge and object-oriented fundamentals

• Practical knowledge of Selenium, JUnit, and Maven

• Experience building or extending a test framework

• Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations

• Knowledge of JSON and XML

• Practical SQL and Git knowledge

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD processes

• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD or similar

• Willingness to perform manual testing at the beginning of the project

• Communicative English

• Ability to work in a Scrum team
