Description

Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases in close collaboration with developers, manual testers, Product Owners, and business experts. Expand automated test coverage across frontend and backend flows to reduce reliance on manual testing, and perform performance and non-functional testing (including JMeter). Monitor, analyze, debug, and document automated test execution results while continuously improving test frameworks and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test cases with developers and QA stakeholders

• Increase automated test coverage for frontend and backend flows

• Run performance and non-functional tests (especially with JMeter)

• Prepare, gather, and manage test data for different scenarios

• Monitor, analyze, debug, and document automated test execution results

• Identify gaps in test automation and drive improvements in coverage and processes

• Support QA activities within the delivery team and promote an automation mindset

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and practices

• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and solution quality

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on test automation experience for web applications and REST API/service-level testing

• Practical Java skills for test automation development and maintenance

• Software testing principles knowledge (ISTQB Foundation or equivalent preferred)

• Experience with modern automation tools/frameworks: Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman, Maven, Chrome DevTools

• Practical performance testing experience, preferably with JMeter

• Strong Git knowledge and experience working with Bamboo

• Experience with test management/delivery tools: qTest, Jira, Confluence

• Familiarity with BDD and experience using Gherkin

• Ability to independently support QA activities in a delivery team and drive test automation improvements

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Proactive quality mindset and willingness to continuously improve automation practices

• English fluency (written and spoken)
