Description

You will support the development of a microservices-based Operations application in a Scrum team by contributing to both manual and automated testing. The role includes building the test automation framework and writing automated test scenarios, with strong coverage of frontend, backend, and integration testing. You will also support the testing process for applications delivered by an external vendor.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tests and gradually take ownership of automated test development
• Design and build a test automation framework; develop automated test scenarios
• Create, maintain, and evolve automated tests for the Operations application
• Test frontend and backend layers with emphasis on integration tests
• Collaborate with the development team on software quality assurance
• Support testing for applications delivered by an external provider

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual and automated testing
• Experience building and implementing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Practical knowledge of Selenium, Maven, JUnit, Java, Git, and SQL
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as JMeter
• Understanding of SDLC processes in the context of software quality
• Experience working in Agile
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Communicative English
• Minimum secondary education completed with matura
