Description

You will lead the end-to-end transition for a large-scale Big Data platform migration and vendor replacement within a Hadoop/Cloudera environment. The role includes coordinating delivery, timelines, dependencies, budget, risks, and stakeholders, while ensuring predictable execution and clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders and SteerCo.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the vendor change as project manager
• Plan and manage delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks
• Plan and manage the project budget and financial forecasting
• Monitor and report delivery progress and risks; identify issues and risks proactively and escalate when needed
• Uphold project management discipline and promote a strong delivery culture
• Run project team meetings
• Perform progress reporting and SteerCo reporting

Requirements

• Proven track record in leading a large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement project in the Hadoop/Cloudera domain
• Strong risk and issue management skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; able to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to drive follow-up actions and create clarity
• Strong stakeholder and executive stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English skills in speaking and writing
• Ownership, proactivity, and a can-do attitude
