Description

Lead and coordinate a large-scale Big Data platform migration and vendor replacement program. Drive the transition of a strategic Hadoop/Cloudera-based platform by managing delivery activities, timelines, dependencies, budget, risks, and governance, while aligning business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the vendor replacement program as Project Manager
• Plan and manage delivery activities, timelines, dependencies, resources, and milestones
• Manage project budget, forecasting, and financial controls
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues
• Ensure predictable project execution through strong governance and delivery management practices
• Drive communication and alignment across business and technical stakeholders
• Organize and facilitate project team meetings and workshops
• Prepare regular project status reports and deliver executive-level reporting / SteerCo presentations
• Track project progress and escalate critical issues when necessary
• Promote a strong delivery culture and project management discipline

Requirements

• Proven experience leading large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement programs within Hadoop/Cloudera environments
• Previous experience as Project Manager in Big Data platform migration projects
• Strong experience in risk and issue management
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to translate complex information into clear business insights
• Experience managing project budgets and financial forecasting
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong ownership attitude and accountability
• Proactive problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work effectively in complex enterprise environments
