Description

Manage IT projects in logistics and warehousing (WMS) and transportation logistics (TMS) using Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements for WMS/TMS systems, coordinating deployments, integration testing, and end-user training. Oversee project budget, schedule, and risk, maintain vendor relationships for WMS/TMS solutions, and document/report progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects for WMS/TMS in line with Agile/Waterfall practices

  • Turn business requirements into functional requirements for WMS and TMS

  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and end users

  • Coordinate deployments, integration tests, and user training

  • Manage project budget, schedule, and risk

  • Maintain relationships with WMS/TMS suppliers and oversee SLAs

  • Document project progress and report it to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing IT projects, including at least 1 year on WMS or TMS projects

  • Practical knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., PSI, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, Infor) or practical knowledge of TMS systems (e.g., SPEED, Transporeon, SAP TM, Oracle TMS, BluJay, Manhattan TMS)

  • Experience working with developer and implementation teams

  • Knowledge of warehouse processes (receiving, picking, inventory, shipping) and/or transportation processes (planning, dispatching, monitoring, settlement)

  • Ability to analyze data and technical documentation

  • Knowledge of integrations between WMS and ERP/MES or TMS integrations with ERP/WMS/telematics/carrier platforms

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work under time pressure in a dynamic environment

  • Proactive, independent problem-solving mindset

  • Higher technical education or education in logistics/IT/project management

  • Fluent Polish; communicative English (spoken and written)
