Description

Lead the development of an insurance platform with technical leadership and end-to-end ownership across backend, frontend, cloud, and DevOps. Modernize legacy systems incrementally toward a modular architecture on Azure, and champion practical, secure, measurable AI adoption in the SDLC using tools and agents around Anthropic Claude.

Responsibilities

  • Build full-stack web applications and deliver end-to-end solutions

  • Modernize legacy platforms incrementally toward modular architecture under Azure

  • Lead AI adoption within the team, driving practical, secure, and measurable usage of AI tools and agents

  • Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Dapper

  • Design and tune databases, stored procedures, and queries in MS SQL

  • Implement REST and XML-based APIs

  • Manage cloud infrastructure using Azure App Service and Azure Container Apps

  • Develop web application interfaces using modern frameworks

  • Establish CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation processes

  • Apply secure coding practices across the development lifecycle

  • Document technical specifications clearly for team-wide alignment

  • Collaborate with the team and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications and delivering end-to-end solutions

  • Proficiency in .NET Core (8–10), Entity Framework, and Dapper

  • Expert-level skills in REST and XML-based APIs

  • Expert-level experience with MS SQL, including query tuning, stored procedures, and database design

  • Experience with AI for SDLC and Claude Code; readiness to lead AI adoption within the team

  • Familiarity with Azure, including Azure App Service and Azure Container Apps

  • Hands-on experience with Vue.js, ReactJS, or Angular

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, GitHub, Azure ARM, or Terraform

  • Awareness of SignalR and/or WebSockets

  • Strong focus on secure coding practices

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively

  • Leadership, collaboration, time management, and ability to document specifications clearly
