Description

You will work on backend development using Kotlin as part of a long-term, remote freelance engagement. The work includes event-driven systems with Kafka, Kubernetes deployment, and CI/CD for mobile and backend applications with strong DevOps collaboration. You’ll join an experienced team and contribute to development processes like code review and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Kotlin
• Build and maintain event-driven systems using Kafka
• Work with Kubernetes-based deployments
• Support CI/CD workflows for mobile and backend applications
• Collaborate with DevOps practices and processes
• Participate in code reviews and quality-focused development routines

Requirements

• Good command of written and spoken English
• Located in the European Union
• Kotlin proficiency
• Kubernetes experience
• Event-driven systems experience with Kafka
• CI/CD experience for mobile and backend applications
• DevOps collaboration experience
• Understanding of certification and compliance processes
