Description

You will help build and improve backend services for a large-scale cloud product. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality solutions for enterprise users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and related technologies

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Create unit tests and participate in integration testing when needed

• Participate in performance testing when needed

• Take part in code reviews

• Solve complex technical problems with a focus on performance, security, and user experience

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support product features

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development of commercial web applications using Java and/or Kotlin

• Recent experience with Kotlin

• Strong understanding of core computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity

• Experience designing and working with APIs

• Experience building or supporting distributed and scalable systems

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, or similar tools

• Good understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java

• Upper Intermediate English or higher

• Ability to work independently in a distributed team

• Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment

• Experience with performance optimization

• Experience contributing to technical design and specifications
