Description

You will develop and maintain backend applications that support processes for reporting and handling insurance claims. The work includes implementing new features, working with SQL databases, writing unit tests, and maintaining code quality and reliability. You will also use AI tools responsibly in daily development tasks, with attention to solution quality and data security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications in Java/Kotlin
• Implement new functionality using Spring and Hibernate
• Work with SQL databases
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality
• Collaborate with the team on software development and maintenance
• Use AI tools to support programming tasks while ensuring quality and data security

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial software development experience
• Knowledge of Java or Kotlin
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Knowledge of SQL; Git and Maven
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks
• Understanding of OOP and FP programming paradigms
• Ability to use ready-made AI skills/agents for development support
• Ability to choose AI models considering cost, speed, and quality, with justification
• Ability to classify sensitive data and select appropriate AI tools
• Basic knowledge of MCP and ability to use existing AI integrations
• Preferred: basic Bash or PowerShell knowledge
• Preferred: technical certifications or completed prompt engineering/AI engineering course
