Description

Perform and document research studies with minimal supervision, including accurate data collection, reporting, and basic laboratory procedures. Handle and process samples, support study preparation, and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and study protocols. Maintain laboratory documentation, perform data entry/edits, and prepare materials for shipment and archiving.

Responsibilities

• Generate and record data; handle and process samples
• Perform basic laboratory tasks and procedures
• Collect and document research data in compliance with GLPs, SOPs, study protocols, and policies
• Under supervision, may act as lead/primary technician on basic studies
• Use basic LCMS knowledge
• Input, print, and edit computer laboratory data
• Prepare materials and data for shipment and archiving
• Receive samples and complete tracking documentation
• Review documentation related to quality control requirements
• Perform study preparation (tube labeling, room setup) and maintain clean work areas
• Perform other related assigned duties

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.)
• 0–2 years related lab experience (biology, chemistry/pharmacy, or similar)
• GLP experience preferred
• Proficient in basic technical skills and operation of data collection equipment
• Knowledge of GLPs and other federal regulations/guidelines
• Basic understanding of study design and protocols
• Accurate data recording, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and effective teamwork
• Ability to learn and use computer programs; prior computer experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa, now or in the future
