Description

You will integrate and analyze healthcare data, including complex pharmacy claims sources, and transform the results into clear, impactful insights. The role emphasizes strong SQL, data visualization (Power BI or similar), and the ability to tell a compelling data story for technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Extract and manipulate healthcare data using SQL

  • Create engaging data visualizations with Power BI (or similar)

  • Integrate and analyze complex data sources, including pharmacy claims

  • Use Python, R, or equivalent tools for data analysis and automation

  • Communicate insights clearly to technical teams and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for extracting and manipulating healthcare data

  • Experience creating engaging data visualizations with Power BI or similar tools

  • Strong storytelling skills to turn data into clear, impactful insights

  • Experience integrating and analyzing complex data sources, including pharmacy claims

  • Programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent for data analysis and automation

  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with technical teams and stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent hands-on experience

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience, particularly with PBM and claims data

  • Familiarity with healthcare coding (ICD/CPT), medical terminology, and medical claims processing

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Knowledge of cloud tools such as Azure, Databricks, or DevOps systems

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred

  • Prior experience working in healthcare analytics, pharmacy, or PBM environments highly valued

  • Proven track record supporting data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced setting
