Description

Collaborate with the Land Department and internal BI/IT teams to align data models, pipelines, governance, and special projects, and to translate business opportunities into practical AI designs. Build governed AI use-case intake-to-delivery paths, lead complex analytics initiatives, and deliver analytics solutions across the full lifecycle. Use SQL and R for advanced statistical and analytical work, perform code reviews, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Land teams (Division Order, Land Administration, Title, Owner Relations, Business Development, Land Acquisitions) on data models, pipelines, governance, and special projects
  • Work with internal BI/IT teams to implement table and code changes
  • Coordinate with the STAQ delivery team to prioritize and push changes to environments in Salesforce, Databricks, and AI pipelines
  • Convert Claude Enterprise and related AI capabilities into measurable Land outcomes and adoption
  • Create a governed intake-to-delivery path for AI use cases across business functions
  • Translate business opportunities into AI designs with IT and Land SMEs
  • Lead complex analytics initiatives using advanced scripting and analytical methods
  • Design, build, and maintain analytical solutions using SQL
  • Support the analytics lifecycle: discovery, design, development, validation, and refinement
  • Perform code reviews to ensure quality, performance, maintainability, and standards compliance
  • Support advanced Land analytics beyond standard BI reporting
  • Apply advanced statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems
  • Communicate insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay current with emerging analytics technologies and assess applicability
  • Produce daily and weekly reports, charts, and visualizations for stakeholders and management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science, Information Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of coding experience
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for implementing and optimizing analytical logic
  • Working proficiency in R for statistical and analytical use cases
  • Proven experience delivering complex analytics solutions in a BI or enterprise environment
  • Strong software development best practices (version control, testing, documentation)
  • Experience defining, enforcing, and reviewing shared coding standards
  • Ability to refactor and improve codebases authored by multiple contributors
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring peers and influencing technical direction without direct authority
